Today in structured play, P1 explored changing leaves and colours during autumn by creating 'Autumn Squirrels'. We discussed how squirrels needed to eat lots of food during autumn so that they are ready for the cold winter weather. Pupils had lots of fun cutting their squirrels out of paper, colouring them in and sticking colourful leaves on with PVA glue. We've all gone nuts for how cute they are!
