We have been looking at the features of instruction texts in Literacy. We have also looked at changing states and the Water Cycle in World Around Us. We mixed the two subjects today when we made delicious Top Hats! We were able to see water turning from liquid to gas and then condensing back to liquid when the steam hit the cool glass bowl. We observed how the chocolate melted to a liquid and returned to a solid as our Top Hats set. We then wrote a set of instructions to describe what we did. A busy morning!
