York 2018☀️😎

25th May 2018

Day 1 - We arrived safely at our hotel around 6:30pm. We enjoyed the Birds of Prey flying display and a lollipop in the glorious sunshine. All now in bed...but not sleeping yet!!

Day 2 - A fabulous day had by all enjoying the railway museum, Sealife, shopping and bowling topped off by McDonalds.

Day 3 - A busy day in York at the Castle Museum, Chocolate Story and Jorvik Centre. We also did some shopping, played games on the beach and had hot chocolate/milkshake in McDonalds. We are packing our cases now ready for our return tomorrow!

Day 4- We had an early breakfast, emptied our rooms, loaded the coach and left Scarborough for Eden Camp. After a snack we visited the museum, it was very interesting to see all the displays and army vehicles on display. We then travelled North to Gretna Green Outlet Village where we had our packed lunch, went shopping and enjoyed ice creams in the sunshine before going back onto the coach for the last leg of our journey to Cairnryan. The ferry was delayed, but once on-board we all had a delicious evening meal and then had time to go out on deck and to relax!

Thanks to Gary, Gillian and family at the Granby Hotel in Scarborough, to Andrew our coach driver for taking us safely to Scarborough and home again and a big thank you to the teachers who accompanied the Primary 7 children.
