We've started our new Literacy focus on newspapers. Everyone read a copy of First News and made a list of headlines. We enjoyed getting to grips with a real newspaper for children. We've just one complaint- if they had staples in the middle they would stay together better!
On a dry Autumn morning we went outside to test our number facts. We tried to write down multiplication facts from memory. We are getting quicker at recall of facts.
