Primary seven have been learning about World War 2 and how difficult life was with rationing. We planted lots of vegetables earlier in the year and the time had come to harvest the broad beans and cabbages. Everyone had great fun despite the rain and Mrs Bristow, our school cook, took the cabbages and cooked them for everyone in P6 and 7 who wanted to try it.
A big thank you must go to Mrs Gallagher who worked so hard planting the vegetables with the children last year and watering them all through the summer holidays.
