Many thanks to the 'Speaking Volumes' charity in partnership with 'Burning Bush Bookshop' in Dungannon for donating this wonderful collection of Christian children's books to Howard Primary School.
The 'Speaking Volumes' charity was founded by English entrepreneur Cecil Jackson-Cole. He wanted to ensure that Christian literature is accessible to everyone to provide comfort, hope, encouragement and inspiration.
Cecil was also the co-founder of Action Aid, Help the Aged and Oxfam. He helped establish the first ever Oxfam charity shop in Oxford in 1947.
We are delighted to have these books in our school libraries and hope pupils enjoy reading them.
