On Friday our 26 nursery children put on their waterproofs and Wellington boots and headed out on a Forest School Adventure to our enclosed forest area in the grounds of Howard Primary School. After having an explore around the forest the children completed a range of tasks. Firstly the children collected small and big leaves for our forest collage. Next they searched for a set of small sticks which they used as 'drumsticks' to play on our outdoor drums. Lastly the children looked for some creatures. They found our bird boxes and lots of slugs and wood lice. They thoroughly enjoyed their outdoor snack of biscuits and hot chocolate.
