P is for popcorn 🍿🍿

This week we have been learning about the letter p! We thought about different foods that started with the p sound and our favourite was popcorn! Miss Ewing had such a lovely surprise for us all- we got to make our own popcorn! It was so yummy 😁 We saw butter melting, sugar dissolving and the kernels popping open! These were big words for P1 but we were able to talk about what they all meant. We were so quiet we even heard the popping sound of the kernels hitting the lid 😱 We then completed some literacy activities making the letter p practically 🍿 What a lovely end to a Wednesday afternoon ⭐️
