Primary seven love PE lessons and following our recent PE inspection we are delighted that Mrs Burrows and Mr McIlwaine got the top grade for their lessons. PE is an important part of the curriculum which also promotes a healthy lifestyle and helps maintain good mental health. Our school is proud of our excellent facilities and teaching in this area.
We have many links to the local community and outside agencies which help the school deliver the PE curriculum and take after school clubs. Rugby Tots, Dungannon Swifts football coaching, hockey, netball, tennis, cricket and multi sports have all been provided for the children.
The IFA have provided wonderful coaches to help teachers deliver the curriculum at different times in the school year. We are very grateful to Judith who has also provided primary seven with free tickets to watch the Northern Ireland women’s international match against England over the Easter holidays.
