Primary 7 pupils and their families joined staff and governors to celebrate the end of their time at Howard Primary School. Mrs McWilliams welcomed special guests, Mrs Heather Richardson, School Secretary and four former pupils Laura Birnie and Reuben Gibson (Head Girl and Head Boy at Royal School Dungannon), Lee Jardine (Head Boy at Drumglass High School) and Christian Weng (Head Boy at Integrated College Dungannon).
Primary Seven performed for the audience and Mrs McWilliams addressed the audience before inviting Mrs Richardson to present the awards. The former pupils presented the Primary 7 leavers with the ties for their new schools.
Mrs McWilliams made a special presentation to Mrs Richardson on behalf of the whole school community. Mrs Richardson is retiring after 14.5 years as Secretary at Howard PS. During that time Mrs Richardson has served the school community with one hundred percent dedication and care for every person. She made countless phone calls, photocopied hundreds of letters and counted thousands of pounds! As Mrs Richardson retires we wish her a long and very happy retirement.
