Pumpkin soup! 🎃
This week we have been learning all about how pumpkins grow from little seeds into huge pumpkin plants! We also read a book called Pumpkin Soup which taught us about being kind and sharing with others! So we thought that we made our own pumpkin soup!
Firstly, we all had to wash our hands. Then, we chopped up the vegetables for our soup - it was tricky but we all tried our best! After, we fried the vegetables and added in our stock cubes.
While we waited for our soup to cook some P1’s wanted to plant the pumpkin seeds to see if they would grow! We had to find the perfect spot outside! Hopefully we will have some pumpkins next year!
Finally, Mrs Morrow helped us to blend the soup and we got to taste it! Some people thought it was delicious and some people thought is was not nice! Miss Ewing, Mrs Morrow and Mrs McGahan all thought it was delicious -well done P1! 🥣🎃
