Dear Parent,
As a school we took part in the “Take 5” initiative last October and really valued the efforts of our families to ensure the well being of our school children. At Howard PS we want to support the excellent start which has been made with regard to Mental Health in our local area.
Mrs Burrows and Miss Winslow are part of the committee organising the REACH Mentoring Programme in Dungannon. (Further details on the attached flyer.)
This is an extremely important aspect of working with young people and we would really urge you to consider helping this project. As this is a cross community project aimed at the future workforce we are hopeful of gaining support from local businesses. If you have a connection with a local business, please speak to them about supporting the project.
Already the committee have secured additional financial support from ‘Westland Horticulture’ and ‘Burrows Body Repairs’ for the next 3 years.
