Primary 5 have been learning about plastic pollution and about the importance of keeping plastic out of our water systems. We had a special visit from NI Water who talked to us about reducing our plastic waste. NI Water has provided a reusable water bottle for everyone in school. Miss Sweeney took an assembly this morning to inform all pupils about the problem of plastic waste and Primary 5 gave each class their new bottles. From today, we have pledged not to use single use plastic bottles and are asking pupils not to bring these to school. Together we can make a difference!
