P4-P7 Running and Raising money for NSPCC
After a very informative assembly by the NSPCC we decided to run a fund raiser to help support the worthy charity. On Tuesday 24th of August we came to school in our track suits and all classes took part in extra P.E. lessons which were great fun. A lot of classes took part in dances, relay and team competitions.
Several classes attempted the 'Killer K' which involves running around the MUGA pitch 7 times. (a distance of one kilometre) If you look carefully at the pictures you may be able to spot Mr McIlwaine who joined in the fun. (Miss Sweeney and Mrs Stewart were standing by with our new defibrillator just in case!!!- but he made it to the finish line without stopping) Well done to all the fit boys and girls who took part and for all the sponsorship money that was raised.
