Today, pupils and staff dressed in yellow clothing/ accessories to mark World Mental Health Day. With a Focus on Take 5 steps to well being:

During the day, in the glorious sunshine, everyone took part in a Walk and Talk with other classes.
It was great to get outside for other activities too. The younger classes created faces from natural materials, older classes completed leaf identification tasks, I Spy and a Scavenger hunt.
Primary 6 pupils created thank you cards for all school staff and delivered them along with chocolate.
As a surprise, at the end of the day, all pupils received a sweet treat along with the news that they have no Friday Test tomorrow, their homework is to go home and spend time with their family doing something nice and linking to Take 5.
